Bird|Postcards

Welcome dear bird lovers!
I’m Karina. In 2018, I discovered my curiosity about birds. It happened in a book store. Looking through the pages, marveling at beautiful watercolour paintings of woodpeckers, pigeons, ducks, swifts and other bird kinds I had a feeling of coming home to myself. As if I just had recognized an old, hidden truth that was already there within me from the beginning.
When I read that book, I found a world of passion, life list birding, science, art, travels and overwhelming beauty. All in the birds.
Every topic there touched me and I found out, that it was about me. I am a birdwatcher.
Since that day, I have been curious about everything that can be told about birds. I started creating this webblog with the purpose of sharing my curiosity, fascination and admiration of birds.
