Bekassine

Sie ist ein erstaunlicher Vogel, die etwa taubengroße Bekassine. Ihr langer Schnabel misst stolze etwa 7 cm, hat eine bewegliche Spitze, mittels der die Bekassine sogar tief im Schlamm ihre Beute verspeisen kann, ihr Balzflug klingt dank ihrer besonderen Schwanzfedern wie das Meckern einer Ziege und sollte es ganz gefährlich werden, kann die Bekassine ihre Jungen zwischen Bauch und Schnabel klemmen und mit ihnen davonfliegen.
